Re: Samoa makes top 10
That is very exciting news for Samoa and I hope Samoa keeps developing ethically.
The only thing I see that could be a future problem for Samoa in staying in the top 10 group of ethical developing nations is the problem that poverty is not being addressed by the current government and P.M..
The consequence of the P.M’s denial is that so many children are not attending school, because they have to sell goods on the street for their families’ survival. Considering that the P.M. is also the minister of tourism, then it is his responsibility, and his alone to do something about the enslavement of Samoan children which will ultimately knock Samoa out of the top 10 ethical developing countries to visit if he continues his stubborn denial to this glaring problem.
To ignore poverty and the rights of children, to education, opportunity, and safety is so unethical in so many ways.
