Police open new carport

The Samoa Police Service (S.P.S.) has officially opened a multifunction carport at its Apia headquarters.

The opening was facilitated by Police Commissioner Fuiavailiili Egon Keil last Friday.

The shelter provides not only a space to service police vehicles but also can be utilize as an outdoor shelter for fitness training sessions and possible meeting space during police operations. 

The opening was attended by the Senior Management but also members of the Samoa Australia Police Partnership and Australia Defense who have been instrumental in building the capabilities and supporting the development of S.P.S.

Commissioner Fuiavailiili urged members of S.P.S. to appropriately use resources provided by Government and our external partners to provide the best policing service to the people of Samoa. 

He also used the opportunity to acknowledge the ongoing support of SPS partners but also for all members of the Samoa Police who are working every single day (24/7) to serve with honor and respect. Supporting policing operations in order to promote a Safer Samoa.
