A M.P.V. minivan and a Nissan X-trail were involved in a crash at Tuanaimato yesterday afternoon.

According to the driver of the Nissan who did not want to be named, he was heading east while the minivan was heading west.

“The minivan was speeding while heading west,” said the driver.

“When he came closer, he bumped the right side of my car, it happened so fast.”

Alcohol was a factor.

“The driver was unconscious when the police arrived at the scene."

“I’m not hurt just a pain that I’m feeling on my side I hope it’s not serious but I’m just glad that no lives were taken in this unexpected crash.”
