Boy missing since Wednesday

A 11-year-old boy has been reported missing since last Wednesday by his family at Faleas’iu.

Ioapo Toetu was last seen wearing black shorts without a shirt and the matter has been brought to the attention of the police. 

The Ministry of Police released a statement last Friday evening stating that he left home around 5pm on Wednesday July 11 and is yet to return.

“The young boy left his home at around five o’clock in the evening. His mother notified the police on Friday morning and investigations have been conducted. The police have also visited relatives of the young boy, however, they have no knowledge of his whereabouts,” stated the police statement.

According to reports the missing boy went to the shop with his brother and on their way back home realized that he lost a mobile phone in his pocket. 

“He then went back to look for the mobile phone and he never returned back. The police have asked the public for assistance to locate the boy. If you have any information that may lead to his whereabouts, please contact the police immediately on 22222.
