The unprecedented success of Seabreeze Resort as “Samoa’s Leading Hotel” at the World Travel Awards is the result of teamwork.

Having won the award for the fifth consecutive year at the 24th annual World Travel Awards in China recently, Owners Wendy and Chris Booth said this wouldn’t be possible without the family environment at the Aufaga resort.

“We have a philosophy at Seabreeze where we say “Friends who play together stay together” and that’s how we run the resort, as one huge big family,” Wendy said.

“We have our ups and downs like any family but we get over them. We find the solution to the problem so for me sustaining tourism is far more than just serving guests.”

Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi congratulated Seabreeze.

“We are all indeed very proud of Seabreeze’s achievement which we can put squarely on the shoulders of the management, owners of Seabreeze,” Tuilaepa said.

“Tourism will continue to be the mainstream of the economy of Samoa. The government will continue to invest heavily on the facilities and infrastructure to ensure that we will continue to develop and grow our industry in Samoa for the benefit of getting more and more jobs for our young ones as well as ensuring the security of market for our fishermen and for our farmers who need to work hard to provide the food to feed the people that come to visit our shores.”
