Mothers are known to be the core of a family, her importance may spread to the community and the society.

There work in nurturing, raising and being the bread provider should never go unrecognized. Thus, why every mother should be celebrated because of their hard work. 

This was the case witnessed at the Saloga Methodist Church, Savaii; where mothers were celebrated not only because they are mothers but also because they are the foundation of families as well as the society and community.

It was a beautiful celebration, seeing these lovely ladies perform in church; something we hardly see on a Sunday, all the more reason why yesterday’s service was extra special. 

Fathers and children had to do the chores and treat mothers as the queens they are. It was a Sunday filled with love, laughter, bit of tears and hearts filled with joy as we celebrated mothers and their importance. 

Once again a massive thank you to all the mothers in Samoa for their role in raising and nurturing our families, as well as holding everything together. It is never an easy task and that is why any household is never complete if you are not present. Once again Happy Mothers’ Day!
