The Bank of South Pacific (B.S.P) has lent a helping hand once again, this time to the Samoa Handball Association for their upcoming school competition.

B.S.P Samoa Business Manager, Michelle Lemisio, presented a cheque of $2000 to the President of the Association, Rev. Hemi Faaeafaleupolu at the B.S.P main branch in Apia yesterday.

“B.S.P encourages youth to try their hand at all types of sports in order to develop their skillset and knowledge,” said Ms. Lemisio.

“It is with great pleasure that we have partnered with the Samoa Handball Association to help grow the sport in Samoa and also contribute to their youth development programme.”

The Samoa Handball Association is focused on increasing interest and participation in the Olympic sport with their upcoming competition, the Samoa Primary and Secondary Schools Handball Academy, an initiative to introduce and promote handball to youth and the wider community.

With a commitment to supporting youth development programmes, B.S.P continues to extend its hand in order to help grow various sports at a grassroots level in Samoa.
