Lua Leota and Lennon Lineni Fa’amausili exchanged matrimonial vows at the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of L atter Day Saints yesterday.

The pair met in 2014 and last week, they decided to tie the knot to seal their relationship for as long as they both shall live. The ceremony was witnessed by many close friends and families.

“We are both very excited about this new step in our lives,” said Lennon.

“Today is a very special day and we are both very grateful.”

For the couple, it was love at first sight.

“It all started when I came back to Samoa in 2013 from New Zealand and I was admitted at the hospital,” he said.

“My bed was right next to her father, he was also sick and that’s where we met.”

“At that time, Lua was still at the School of Medicine while I was at School of Aviation in New Zealand.”

Eventually both quit their studies so they could have more time together.

“Looking to the future, we decided to settle first before we continue on our careers.”

“For today, all Glory to God for His everlasting love. We know we were created to care and love each other.”

Lennon is 25-years of age and is the son of Liutoga Fa’amausili and Lineni of Malie and Sale’aula, Savai’i.

His wife is 22-years-old. She is the daughter of Avalisa and Filiga Leota of Lelepa and Saleimoa.

The maid of honor was Falaula Fa’amausili while the best man was Fogalele Su’a. The reception was held at the T.A.T.T.E Building.
