Show better leadership

Re: Climate change

Being in Australia, I hang my head in shame at the inaction of our nation.

Really - it is the responsibility of adults around the world to provision for the next generation. When I say ‘next generation’ I don’t just mean humans - I mean all young.

To date the response of nations around the world has been GROSS!!! failure. I despair that democracies show all signs of being solely short-term vested interest groups. Children and animals don’t vote so they get totally ignored.

Unfettered capitalism is nailing the lid on our respective coffins. All(!) economy (food, water, metals, wood, houses, vehicles, fuel, etc etc) is provided by the planet. We take what we want and chuck it out once we no longer need it (or could not be bothered repairing it). Is it any wonder that the planet’s immune system is gearing up against the human pathogen?

Better stop now ... I get so angry about this.
