You need to do some work

Dear Editor,

I read your editorial titled “Legitimate concerns call for better monitoring of laws.”

Sadly, if the government continues to make insane policies like, "citizenship for investments", these foreign owned business would accelerate on a much faster pace.

The law doesn't work because we have people who are supposed to monitor and enforce these laws sit in their cushy offices, eating pani popo, picking their noses and watching the clock for quitting time.

People of Samoa, unfortunately, you, will have to do the policing yourselves.

Be on the look out for these businesses then do your own investigating and team up with Samoa Observer to report if they're legitimate or not.

Call up the appropriate Ministry and report your findings, ask questions and take notes. If you don't do it, it's obvious, no one will.

You need to put their feet to the fire and bring the problem to them...then hope something is done.

Your future and well being is at stake … take action!
