Le Manumea takes out quarterfinal

The second quarter final of the Faletalimalo Siva Afi Challenge was held during Siva Afi Entertainment’s Cultural and Fire Knife Dancing show, at Ooh La La Ice Cream Bar Matautu Tai.

Le Manumea Hotel was represented by Lene Alema and Le Lagoto Resort represented by Timoelu Simona.

Lene drew first performance and gave it his all in one of the most spectacular displays seen in the challenge so far. Next up Timoelu put in an equally impressive display.

The crowd was genuinely amazed at the level of professionalism and showmanship of both performers.

Kome Feagaimalii and Galumalemana Patrick Rasmussen had the difficult task of judging one of the closest challenges to date.

There was nothing in it and in the end Lene came through with the win by a narrow margin. Lene will now represent Le Manumea in the semi-finals of the Faletalimalo Siva Afi Challenge.

The Faletalimalo Siva Afi Challenge takes place Tuesday evenings during the Siva Afi Show, at Ooh La La Ice Cream Bar Matuatu Tai.

The overall winner will collect $1000 prize money, donated by Seafood Gourmet Matautu Tai, and gain automatic entry to the International Siva Afi Competition 2017, which will be held in Apia, 30th August – 2nd September.

Tonight, Jack Laben of the Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Apia will be face Alema Alema of Return to Paradise Resort in the third quarter-final of the Faletalimalo Siva Afi Challenge.

The winner will join the Jet Over Hotel and Le Manumea Hotel in the first semi-final. To book a seat for the show, call Siva Afi Entertainment on 752 6128 / 26128.
