Customary land and Samoa

Re: Talk means nothing when there is no action

It’s possible to lease customary land for business ventures and there are many businesses already in successful collaborations with customary landowners.

The only way though to obtain credit on customary land is to convert customary land to free hold land.

There is no evidence whatsoever to indicate that failure of Samoa’s economy is due largely to the inability of potential entrepreneurs to find credits.

This is just the usual lousy attempt by H.R.P.P cronies to divert attention from a poor performing economy under their management.

The government needs to step up, what’s the point of offering 50% tax credit on profits from exports when there’s barely anything to export?

There’s plenty of fertile land though (Customary land).

You need to ask what else can the government do to improve the business climate so that people can develop these lands rather than trying to be a lousy H.R.P.P car salesman everyday BS Jefferey.
