The Piula Theological College was a hive of activities yesterday.

The occasion was the annual gathering hosted by the Piula Old Boys Association on the second week of January for all Methodist Church Ministers.

The Association’s Secretary, Taumafai Komiti, told the Sunday Samoan yesterday the event not only brings everyone together, it is an opportunity to look at areas to improve their work.

“This is an annual event for the Piula Old Boys Association,” he said.

“It is important as it brings us all together. It is a spiritual gathering that we do for various reasons.

“One major goal for this gathering is to share biblical presentations and bible studies among the Church Ministers of the Methodist Church.

“It is a way for us to come together as we start the work this year in 2019.”

The gathering is also used to inspire and encourage the participants to be strong to face the challenges in the year ahead.

Yesterday’s gathering was attended by Church Ministers from Samoa, American Samoa, Hawai'i, New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

It is continuing today.
