Online trading gives you many of the advantages previously enjoyed by professional investors, including unprecedented access to information, analytical tools and other execution capabilities.

These enhanced resources may appeal to people who want to trade on short-term movements in stock prices.

Online trading is not big in Samoa.

But that’s what Traders Mecca $amoa hopes to change.

The Facebook page is offering an opportunity not only for Samoan people from Upolu and Savai’i, it is also opened for all to buy, sell and trade online.

The range of items is impressive. From a Hummer vehicle, a petrol run golf cart to telephones and TV Series, the page has it all. And its growing in popularity.

Jaye, the founder of Traders Mecca $amoa, said he was inspired to start the page after reading about so many different trading groups on Facebook.

He wanted to create something different and unique.

“I wanted to do something useful and important on Facebook,” he told the Samoa Observer.

“So this inspired me to create the group. I wanted to create something so that all Samoans around the globe will come together to buy, sell and trade.”

Jaye said he knows Samoan people are spread all over the world. Traders Mecca $amoa is a place of reunification. It allows Samoans to interact and share what they wish to buy or sell.

So how did they come up with the name?

“The group name was decided with the help from the business advisor in Australia,” he said. Her name is Von Tuaimau Latu.

Traders include everyone or all of the members that will post and become members of TM$.

Mecca is a Holy city in Saudi Arabia. It is a place that is the center of an activity and attracts many visitors with a similar interest.  “The reason why we chose the word Mecca so that my group will be a centre for online trading for all Samoans. People will come together to buy, sell and trade.“, Jaye said.

Traders Mecca $amoa opens a lot of opportunities to all the small businesses on it. Visit their page on Facebook.
