Atoa Ripley and All Stars donate to Fa'ataua o le Ola

The Teuila Finale Show by the All Stars Band with Atoa Ripley at Sails Restaurant, Mulinu'u on Saturday evening, coincided with the commemoration of World Awareness Day for Suicide Prevention. 

An impromptu Taualuga by the Fa'ataua o Le Ola (F.L.O) Committee, at the conclusion of the Atoa Ripley show, collected more than $2,000.00 for the organisation. 

The patron of the Fa'ataua o Le Ola Organisation,  Afioga Hans Joachim Keil, with Vice Patron Tuatagaloa Joe Annandale thanked guests and Mr Atoa Ripley and the All Stars Band for their support, and the collection received.  

"We thank our community for your constant giving,  which allows Fa'ataua o Le Ola, to be able to reach out to those who need us, our assistance", said an official of FLO. 

Local businessman, Seiuli Ian Black of Sails, Mulinuu said,  "To save a life, to prevent suicide,  is our collective effort, in whatever small means a person can contribute, a worthy purpose ". 

The night was well attended by the community and musical enthusiasts. 

Sala Dr. Seutatia Solomona Aveau an accomplished musician and her husband former politician, Afioga Tuisuga Aveau were also in attendance. 

Organisers for the event, Tofa Tuiletufuga Siaosi, and American Samoa-based musician, Ulale Pusi Ulale with local entrepreneur Lyvia Hansell-Black, are confident there will be future performances for the All Stars Band in Apia.
