Five lucky fathers have another reason to celebrate Father’s Day.

Yesterday, Chan Mow Supermarket conducted their Devondale Father’s Day draw naming fathers to receive $1,000 cash prize.

Customers had to purchase two packets of one liter Devondale Milk to automatically enter the draw.

Chan Mow Supermarket representative, Sally Chan Mow, said Devondale has been great business partners with Chan Mow for 50 years.

“The first time Devondale opened in Samoa we were the first company that sold their products. We just wanted to give back to the community through various special occasions like the Mother’s Day and now it’s Father’s Day,” Ms. Mow said.

“We wanted do something that honors the role of fathers in Samoa, something to make them feel special but also help them financially and make it more memorable.”

“Fathers are very special, they are heads of families, communities, churches and many more so their role is significant which is why we have dedicated this draw for them,” Ms. Mow said.

She said winners would pick up their cash prizes on Tuesday.

“This is the first time we have done this Devondale promotion in 50 years of collaboration, but we do have different promotions for Devondale per three months but the next promotion will be for the kids.”

“We want to do it annually but then we might change it up a bit, with more surprises to be won.” She acknowledged their business partners and customers.
