The women’s meetings leading up to the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa’s annual conference next week continued yesterday at Malua.

Yesterday was the ‘Tautua o Puapuaga o Tagata’ Committee meeting.

Alofa Simona Taefu led the service and spoke about the importance of having a pure heart to serve God.

"Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God," she reminded.

“That is the goal of the Christian life and what we are living for.

“What a blessing it is for the church if we live our lives in such a way that we see God…but that’s only when we know how to humble ourselves before God.

“It will open up blessings not only for this life, but for eternity.”

More than a hundred wives of elderly deacons, elderly Ministers and pensioner mothers attended the service yesterday at Malua. The conference continues today.
