Representatives from nine highly acclaimed Australian tertiary institutions will be in Samoa from tomorrow, 13 March, for the inaugural Australia Future Unlimited Roadshow Samoa.

The  Roadshow is open to prospective students, career counsellors, parents and corporations interested in enrolling for studies in Australia from 2019.

The Roadshow will include representatives from the Australian National University, Central Queensland University, Victoria University, Deakin University, Griffith College, University of Tasmania, The University of Sydney, University of South Australia and the Australian Institute of Business Technology.

Australia’s High Commissioner, Sara Moriarty, said the Roadshow is an opportunity for Samoans to find out more about tertiary education opportunities in Australia.

“This Roadshow allows Samoans to get in direct contact with representatives from these world renowned tertiary institutions in Australia and ask any questions they have about studying in Australia,” she said.

“We encourage students to make the most of this opportunity and come to the open session on March 13.”

Australia offers a diverse range of study options for international students, with more than 1,200 institutions and over 22,000 courses.

Fifty-eight Samoans were awarded scholarships under the Australia Awards and Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships program. The awards are tenable in Australia and Fiji and via online learning.

“All are welcome to an open session at Taumeasina Island Resort on Tuesday 13 March, 2018 from 9:00 am – 12: 30 am.”
