UP HERE FOR THINKING, DOWN THERE FOR DANCING

Who was the bright spark with asphalt for brains who decided that the Friday of the White Sunday weekend was a great time to fill in the potholes on Convent Street – one of the busiest streets in Apia?

Despite the increased traffic and pedestrians, one side of the road was duly cordoned off while workers deposited hot black tar into the holes.

Meanwhile, many shoppers racing to get their long weekend shopping done were forced to endure the heat and delays caused by this well thought out decision.
