After a weeklong celebration of culture and what’s most beautiful about Samoa, the Teuila Festival culminated on Friday with presentations of Samoan Cultural performances.

Held infront of the government building, cultural groups were divided into three different categories;  Taupou & Aiuli, Mauluulu/Sasa/Faataupati and Manaia & Fuataimi.

The eight dance groups vying for the Aiuli & Taupou and Mauluulu/Sasa/Faataupati were, Sā Fuatinō - Safaato’a Tai, Lefaga, Nono’a Saleimoa Dance Group, Catholic Youth Falefa, EFKS Samamea Youth, Fagaloa, Methodist Youth, Solosolo, EFKS Youth, Lepa, Methodist Youth, Leulumoega Tuai  and the Methodist Youth, Levi, Saleimoa.

The result of the 27th Teuila Cultural Performances, 2017 - 1st - Manaia & Fuataimi – Nono’a Sale’imoa, 1st - Mauluulu/Sasa/Faataupati – Methodist Leulumoega Tuai, 1st – Taupou & Aiuli – Catholic Youth Falefa.
