Chamber training targets better customer service
The importance of great customer service was the focus of a training organised by the Samoa Chamber of Commerce last week.
The five-day course on Customer Service for Frontline Staff was delivered with help from the Samoa In-country Training Programme of the Oloamanu Centre for Professional Development and Continuing Education, N.U.S.
The training was delivered by Kim Chateris-Wright and co-trainer Ina Vaafusuaga.
There were 23 participants from various businesses who took part and many gave positive feedback.
“This training was very helpful for my line of work,” said Alaimalo Vasa, from Apia Broadcasting.
“I learnt a lot on how to deal with customers and build my confidence. I enjoyed the training and am grateful for the opportunity.”
Samoa In-Country Training Program Manager, Sooialo Sydney Faasau, congratulated the participants on completing the course.
The Samoa Chamber of Commerce would like to acknowledge our development partners, NZ MFAT and AUS DFAT, through the Samoa Education Sector Plan budget support to the N.U.S, as well as the S.I.C.T.P. Manager, So’oalo Sydney Faasau, and his team for making this training possible.
