World heavyweight champion shares winning feeling

They promise their customers the best and they delivered yesterday.

Not just in prizes but Digicel sprung a surprise on their customers when World heavyweight boxing champion, Lupesoliai La’auli Joseph Parker, turned up to present the prizes to the winners of Digicel’s  ‘All In One’ promotion.

Lupesoliai is a Digicel Ambassador. As such, he also appeared at Digicel’s  Carnival held at the Sogi Recreational Park.

The W.B.O. Champion is on island to visit friends and family and to say a special thank you to the people of Samoa for their continued support in his quest to become the undisputed heavy boxing champion of the world.

Head of Corporate Affairs at Digicel Samoa, Lefale Waikato Fatu, welcomed Lupesoliai and congratulated the winners.

The best part was that they had the chance to chat, bump fists, snap selfies and hug one of the most dangerous men in the boxing ring.

Spending time with 16 exclusive Digicel winners, Parker engaged with fans on an informal level. The winners were also given signed posters of the W.B.O. Champion.

To be a part of this experience, customers only needed to buy any one of Digicel’s innovative All in One Bundles, a first for Samoa where voice, text and data bundles can be purchased ‘all in one.’

One of the 16 winners thanked Digicel for making sure that the W.B.O Champion visited Samoa.

“It’s not every day we get to meet the W.B.O. Champ and I am thankful,” said the woman.

Each winner received a Digital bag which had goodies and a All-In-One Digicel T-Shirt.

Lupesoliai was later joined by fellow Digicel partners, NRL in Samoa, Digicel CoderDojo, the team from Rugby Academy Samoa, Samoan power lifters, Oliva Kirisome and golden girl, Matile Sitagata as well as athletes from Special Olympics Samoa.

“Bringing to life the All in One product, yesterday’s carnival was an opportunity to connect with customers on a personal level, provide a fun day out for everyone and bring together various Digicel partners ‘all in one’ day,” a statement from Digicel reads.

“Since it’s introduction, Digicel has acknowledged a positive response to the bundles and last week announced a further improvement, extending it from daily bundles to include weekly All in One options, allowing customers to surf, talk and text for even longer periods of time."

“Our All in One Bundles are created specifically for each customer based on how they use their cellphone or communications device. If you sat at a table with friends, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll all see the exact same bundle offer. That’s the beauty of it, our vision is to cater to our customers and their individual needs rather than a one size fits all approach."

“We’ve said this before, Digicel is always searching for ways to create innovative solutions, allowing our customers to focus on what matters most to them. Our new bundles deliver more choice, more control, more value and now, more time to use these bundles.”
