FIRE LESSONS: Fire and Emergency Services Authority Assistant Commissioner, Aufa'i Petaia Tausanimaiomanu, is in Melbourne, Australia this week.

He is undergoing a 12 week training for Fire Investigation Analysis in partnership with the Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade.

The Fire Investigation and Analysis Unit investigates fires with the aim to identify the cause.

Their mandates conduct investigations of incidents/fires with a view to carrying out a detailed analysis so that it can document lessons learnt for life safety and property loss purposes.

Aufa’i is seen with F.E.S.A. Commander Medical Apelu Sauoaiga, who is currently studying towards a Bachelors Degree in Paramedicine at Victoria University.
