The reality in Samoa
Dear Editor,
I’m interested in this debate about the villages banning foreign-owned businesses, especially from China.
Now consider this: NZ pays for education, Australia pays for police services and agriculture assistance and new parliament house without any loans or strings attached.
The roads and electricity was supplied by NZ without a charge.
China builds hospital and other structures but charges loan fees plus makes a special demand on government when Chinese fishing boat catch a fish within Samoan water exclusion borders.
So think before you write nonsense.
