It’s business as usual for Government workers tomorrow

The Government will open for business tomorrow despite the damage caused by Cyclone Gita.

This is according to the Ministry of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Chief Executive Officer, Agafili Shem Leo.

“The water and electricity has been fully restored with the government buildings and so the Government is back to work tomorrow,” he said.

“However all government schools have been suspended until Wednesday.

 Teachers and Principals are asked to report to their respective schools.

“If anything changes, we will send out a notice, however for now it’s been confirmed the government is back for business tomorrow.” 

He said that other government agencies have not had a break since Cyclone Gita. 

Other school that are closed is Robert Louis Stevenson School for Primary and College on Monday 12th Feb 2018. Teachers and office staff to report to work as usual please. They hope to resume for normal school on Tuesday 13/2/2018 at usual times weather permitting.
