Officials of Aqeeq Holdings were in Samoa last week on a recruiting mission.

Leading the team was Michael Ibrahim, the Founder and Chairman.

Aqeeq Holdings L.L.C. is a company that deals with fast moving consumer goods sourcing and supplying goods.

“Aqeeq Holdings has an extensive network of fast moving consumer goods sourcing and supplying in the region,” Aqeeq Holdings local Manager, Emmy Meredith, said during an interview with the Samoa Observer.

“Their major product categories are frozen food products and chilled food products.

“We are supplying the top leading catering and distribution companies across the region, mainly in Sultanate of Oman and Qatar.

“We have state-of-the-art Warehouse and Distribution hub in Oman with two major channels retail and food services,” she said.

Mr. Ibrahim was accompanied by Nikolao Tauiliili Misa, the Regional Manager who met local farmers to explain their services and how they were looking to recruit farmers to be their suppliers.

Meredith added that their mission is to source products from reliable businesses in the Pacific to be able to stimulate the economy and to showcase the level of quality and health benefits these products have for the end consumers.

Their vision is to give Samoan businesses an opportunity to market their products outside of the Australian markets.

“As a Samoan-born, I have been very fortunate in my line of work to be able to have the ability to give back to Samoa.

“By giving back I have created an opportunity for the local businesses to put forward their creations from their own visions.”

They would also like to work to promote Samoan Tourism.
