Taunese and Louis tie the knot

After years of courtship, Taunese Olano Misa and Louis Jalesa Ofele Lene have exchanged matrimonial vows.

The marriage ceremony took place before family and friends at the Satapuala Methodist church.

The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev. Misiafa Ieremia Tyrell

Taunese is the daughter of Susana and Lealifola Suni Olano Misa.

She hails from the villages of Satapuala and Fasitoo-uta. She  works as a Principal Officer Accounts and Administration at the Samoa Law Reform Commission.

Louis from Utuali’i and Lepa is the son of Tuputala Kaisarina and Fa’ateia Ofele Lene. 

He works at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Senior Foreign Officer at the Trade Division.

They have a 3-year-old son, Misiafa Nathaniel Fealofa’i.

“It’s been five years since we’ve been together and all these years was a long distance relationship until he returned to Samoa from China last year in July for good,” said Taunese.

“He was the First Secretary for six years at the Samoa Embassy in Beijing.

“We decided at the beginning of this year to settle down and raise our family together.

“God has been so good to us.” 

The reception was held at Maota Samoa.
