Should have been an all out search

Dear Editor,

Re: Divers say no sign of missing sailor

Exactly what I thought...the body should float after a while if he drowned.

He’s a sailor...sooo he would’ve had the skills to try and save himself too. He must have slipped and hit his head on the lava rocks, and then there’s a possibility that waves and current pushed him far out into the sea.

(Expand the search)! There have been so many incidents of things along the years, that have been washed up miles away from original locations. (boats, whales, ‘even bodies)

Then there’s also a possibility of sharks in the water and well... but I doubt it... (let’s pray that didn’t happen).

Took them 7days to call on the divers! The first time he went missing, they should’ve considered all sources of help! Even our local faipele’s to see if they are able to pick up any clues. Anything and everything to try and find the lost person!

Our hearts go out to the family. May the Lord comfort you at this time of sorrow. But may you also not lose hope!

*Prayers*
