Taxpayers money down the drain

Dear Editor

Re: Salelologa Market revenue drops further

Another failed government-run building business entity.

Taxpayers paid for the building and the government will be offering it for a very low price.

The government needs to get the community and all stakeholders into the planning phase before they can proceed with any study or design. It is critical that the community is involved in the process to ensure a successful venture.

The phrase “Build it and they will come” doesn’t apply to business.

This market should’ve been part of the wharf in Salelologa.

Most people visiting Savai’i will have an opportunity for last minute shopping before they get on the ferry.

This happens when the leader of a country rules with an iron fist.

More taxpayers’ money down the drain.

Imagine how much tuition could be paid for by all the waste?
