Get ready for the longest race
There is one day to go to the Apolima Strait 2017 swim from Upolu to Savaii.
The race kicks off on Tuesday morning before sunrise.
In the race this year are six solo swimmers and three teams.
Apolima Strait is the longest open water race in the Southern Hemisphere.
It is slowly becoming known in the Open Water Swimming community around the globe.
The swim gets a mention in the Air New Zealand inflight Koru Magazine this month. You can follow the race live on livetracker throughout the day.
