Stigmata has always been associated with the Roman Catholic (RC) church. 

I admire the RC leaderships response when it happened outside of the RC membership. 

They accepted it and treated it as their beliefs and faith directs. 

Actions speak louder than words and Archbishop Mataeliga gave a master class in matters of faith. 

Just walk through the doors being opened according to your faith. 

The RC leadership response was the biggest lesson from this incident. 

For me, the jury is still out on the stigmata incident. They may have their ‘purposes’ but Salvation, already available for everyone, and the attendant justification and sanctification are graces of God not tied it.
