Govt. open $2.5million access roads in Savai’i

The government opened four access roads in Savai’i last week.

The roads connect the villages to their plantations, providing them easy access to their cattle farms and taro patches. 

The roads opened included:

• Faletagaloa –at the cost of $607,125, contractor, O.N. &SONS Construction

• Safotu –at the cost of $734,850, contractor, Fico Construction Ltd

• Fagamalo- at the cost of $616,527 contractor, Big Islands Construction Ltd

• Aopo – at the cost $589,912 contractor, Sakalafai Construction Ltd

Total cost of the four road works is $2.5million.
