Keep digging

Re: Samoa Airways lease cost

I can just smell financial problems with this new airline.

The Samoan government should have taken the extra mile and researched it out the best way to proceed with the new airline.

If Samoa is paying USD$500,000 a fortnight to Icelandair then Samoa is paying for the whole entire IcelandAir operation.

There are ways to obtain used aircraft to jump-start a new airline without costing an arm and a leg.

Keep in mind that Icelandair is in business to make money.

Samoa is paying for the lease of the aircraft and also paying Icelandair their per cent on the top of the monthly payment to Boeing or the leasing company.

Thank you Samoa Observer for drilling the truth and I am certain the auga o le paipa will appear one way or another.
