Changes are in the air for Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi’s Associate Ministers, reliable sources say.

The Ministry of Revenue, which covers Prisons and Correction Services, is set to have a new Associate Minister.

He is Lenatai Victor Tamapua.

The portfolio had previously been held by So’oalo Mene.

So’oalo has now been moved to take over the position of Associate Minister of the Ministry of Justice and Courts Administration, previously occupied by Lenatai.

The swap was discussed and approved this week, according to sources.

It was not possible to get an official confirmation last night.

But the Samoa Observer understands the reshuffle will be made official next Monday when Parliament reconvenes.

During the sitting, six new bills will be introduced. They are:

1. Constitution Amendment Bill (No.3) 2017

2. Fire and Emergency Services Amendment Bill 2017

3. Gaming Control Bill 2017

4. Trustee Companies Bill 2017

5. Honours and Awards Amendment Bill 2017

6. Foundations Amendment Bill 2017
