Clarification – P.M. Tuilaepa’s remarks
A story titled “P.M. Tuilaepa demands “honesty” and “integrity” published on the front page of the Samoa Observer yesterday needs to be clarified.
The Prime Minister’s remarks quoted in the story were from a written speech, which had been prepared for the workshop at Hotel Millenia on Monday.
However, at the meeting, Prime Minister Tuilaepa only spoke in Samoan. The address was later sent to the Samoa Observer on Tuesday by the organisers of the “Integrity Workshop for senior government officials.” The misunderstanding is regretted.
