Earthquake felt

There was no tsunami threat for Samoa after a 6.0-magnitude earthquake hit at 4.03pm yesterday afternoon. The Meteorology Division confirmed that there was also no reported damage after it struck. The earthquake occurred within the Tonga region at a depth of 16 kilometres and a distance of 221 kilometres southwest of Apia.
