My God is Free

Your church has a hierarchy

Money, god, priest, Bible, wealthy, the rest

You worship pictures, symbols and statues

Your sabbath is a sacred day

Of paying god’s taxes to raise towers

You give until it destroys you and your family

Your god needs money

Even though he is the Master of the Universe

He needs you to slave every day of your life to feed him

Having no money to give is the greatest sin.

If you don’t pay now, you can’t fly to Heaven later

No mansion for you. You will burn in Hell.

My church has no walls or doors.

In the might of the Sea and the eye of the Storm,

the twinkle of the Stars, the silence of the Jungle

The warmth of the Sun, the smiles of my Mother and Father

All is sacred and free to the free man

All days are holy to the holy

Money is a creation of Man and has no sway with my God

All men are my brothers and sisters

I feed from the fields and seas, in the jungle

I hear Him in the Wind, taste Him in the Sea,

See Him in the way of my people

‘When I die I go to the Wind, I go to the Heart of a Star,

I go to feed the forest and the creatures He loves.

My God is free. Free for the free Man.
