“We are waiting for the other boys that were with him to start back so we can get what really happened in Tokelau."

“But that is all we can say at the moment in regards to this matter.”

Samoa Observer contacted Police Spokesperson; Auapaau Logoitino Filipo in regards to the matter he confirmed the matter.

“At the moment the body of the deceased has been brought back to our shores,” he said.

“But the Government of Tokelau as well as the police are investigating the matter so they will let us and the family know of what really happen.”

Asked why they aren’t investigating the matter Auapaau said they cannot.

“We can’t investigate because the man did not die in our shores he passed away in a different country therefore the government of that country have to investigate,” he said.

“All we have to do is to wait on their investigation to be completed.”
