Work hard, study hard, God first

I want to become a doctor in the future. I love helping people in every way I can, I give all my best to achieve what I’m aiming for.  

The 15-year old, a Year 9 student of Avele College is aiming high to become a doctor.

And Easter Asovsle from Vaitele knows that to achieve her goal for the future, she needs to work hard every day.

“I dreamt of being a doctor when I was in year 6, and I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to achieve my goal by entering college life,” she said.

“I’ve see that our people need help from the hospitals, we have a lack of services for our people, but one day I’ll be that person helping people especially elderly people.

“Even though college is different from primary school but I believe I can do it if I work hard by studying and praying.

She lives with her family at Vaitele, and what she knows about the cost of living, iis that it’s very tough.

“It’s expensive nowadays. Luckily my parents don’t pay my school fees but I see the struggle they go through every day providing for our family in terms of money.”

Changes do happen and we face lots of challenges, but this won’t stop the young future doctor achieving her goals for the future.

“I want to help my parents for the future in every way I can.

For Easter to achieve her goals she said-

“Work hard; study hard and put God first.”
