I too do not support her view that people are poor because they are lazy but at least candidate Fiso is taking a position on poverty.
It’s better than just denying that it exists.
At least she will start a real dialogue on poverty in Samoa, which will bring people together to find solutions.
Awareness about spending more than you can afford on fa’alavelaves is an idea that I could support her on.
She reminds me of a Republican in the U.S. or a Conservative in Canada.
I don’t support them either but it’s important to hear them so I know which of their views I don’t support and which ones I do and hopefully a solution can come about through dialogue.
