Samoa has so much to offer, from friendly smiles to popular tourist spots, but what really captivates the attention of our visitors?

For siblings, Angela and Josh Stevenson, everything captivated their attention and they found beauty in everything that is Samoa.

Visiting our country from Sydney for the first time, the siblings both agreed that they will definitely return for more.

They explained they are spending one week in the country to visit family and to just enjoy themselves in beautiful Samoa.

“Our experience in Samoa has been so good,” they agreed.

“We love it; we are actually here to see some family and to be part of an unveiling ceremony earlier on in the week.

“It’s just really beautiful here in Samoa. This is our first time seeing the country.”

And after just a few days in the country, the siblings have already managed to see much of the country and fall in love with it all.

The people, the tourist spots, the food, the climate, it all molded a perfect experience and beautiful memories for the two to take back home with them.

“We’ve done so much during the six days we’ve been here so far,” they said.

“We went to the To Sua Ocean trench, we went to Lalomanu beach, and we went to the Piula cave pools and just visited family.

“We love everything about Samoa. We love the people, the water temperature; it’s so green and lush everywhere.

“The people are so friendly here, everyone just waves and says hello. The food is great because you put coconut in almost everything and coconut is delicious.

“It’s a little bit hot here but it is bearable, it’s really nice though. We actually thought it would be raining more this time of year, but it’s been fine weather.”

And with all that they have seen, To Sua Ocean trench was what really took their breath away.

“One highlight would definitely be To Sua trench, that was so good,” they said.

“It’s just beautiful and you don’t get anything like that in Australia. We also really loved Lalomanu beach as well. It’s so stunning.

“We had a nice umu there and it was delicious.”

Asked for any constructive feedback for our tourism sector, the two agreed that Samoa shouldn’t change and everything is great the way it is.

“We will definitely be back and we recommend it to everyone,” they said.

“Samoa is pretty good and there isn’t anything that needs to improve. It’s just spot on. We’ve seen quite a bit and we feel that Samoa is great as it is.

“The tourism office showed us around a lot and they did a great job at that.”
