PR - Samoa Primary has the only Leadership, Experience and Opportunity (L.E.O) Club in Samoa.

It has been in operation since 2011 working under the sponsorship of the Apia Lions Club.

It is made up of a voluntary group of young students, in Year 8, who are interested in helping in the community.

The students this year have cleaned the Fagali’i Ford and visited Mapuifagalele Home for the Elderly, with gifts.

Last Friday, the 42 members of L.E.O, their teachers and Co-Principals set to work, to beautify the grounds of the Nelson Public Library.

Students, under the guidance of their teachers have decorated and painted 40 tyres with colourful designs. They have also potted hibiscus cuttings.

These were planted in the tyres.

It is the aim of L.E.O Club to be involved in the community, help people and help keep Samoa’s environment beautiful.
