Be careful P.M. Tuilaepa

Dear Editor,

It’s sad that the government is thinking about bringing back Criminal libel. Be careful Stui. Any laws that maketh the government beyond the reach of accountability is corruption. We’ve been through and through with this all along. Let it pass.

The sin justifies the punishment and in a few weeks no one gives a rats care about what was been said. Putting this bill back online will most surely incite more critic of you right at the season of your reign. A righteous father would’ve ask his son, ‘what the hell were you thinking?’

Call this the ‘Ship coming to port’.

The ride was rough on the high seas and we’ve been tossed around a bit but now upon entering the harbour, all hands are on deck and the skipper’s at the wheelhouse to ensure safe docking.

Reminds me of the old Samoan melody, ‘moe ma manu ae le fati, a’o mala e ati a’e’.

More laws only leads to more law breaking, more resentment, more rebellious, more anarchy, more divisions etc.

The weight of goodness out flanks the weight mistakes many many folds.

You know and I know that your caucus supports your move not because it’s right but because they all want to be a cabinet Ministers or take over your job and they’re playing you for a fool by giving you cheap change support. They were colluding to over throw you when you were away on sick leave.

The public’s voice only strengthened your hand because HRPP cannot move without you. Putting this bill back online will only encourage public support for division in your camp to put you out of business.

It’s a symbiotic relationship. One benefits from the other even though they’re not friends.

Let it ride. We’ll keep an eye out for you from your own camp.
