Towering prop, Sam Kasiano, is back and ready for his third international test for Toa Samoa.

The man who will be remembered for his desperate try-saving maneuver that stripped Tonga of victory in the sparingly last few minutes of their last test match is excited to be back in blue.

With roots in Fasito’o and Utuali’i, Kasiano said everything he does is about the team and Samoa.

“I just wanted to try my best,” he said of the tackle which he will always be remembered for.

“I didn’t want to let my brothers down and it paid off.”

This Saturday, expect nothing less from the gutsy prop.

Toa Samoa is all about brotherhood and this is a big attraction for Canterbury Bulldog star.

He speaks highly of the unique team dynamic among fellow Samoans that isn’t really felt anywhere else.

“I’ve been to the Kiwis camp and stuff like that but, but here, we’re all one.  It feels right.  We’re all usos, it’s the best thing."

“We’re just one big family; everyone gets along with each other.”

As one of the more senior members on the team, he is expected to be one of the leaders on the pitch.

“I’m just trying to get the boys on the front foot, and impact through the middle so the halves can play off it. That’s all I want to do.”

Expect nothing less than another passionate display from one of the game’s loveable giants.
