The Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture, Afamasaga Dr. Karoline Fuata’i, says there was an improvement in the 2018 Samoa Primary Education Certificate of Achievement (S.P.E.C.A.) exam results. But the percentage of those students who passed the exam was only 0.7 per cent and not 7 per cent, as reported earlier by the Samoa Observer.

Woman punched in “cowardice” attack

A 22-year-old man has been charged by the Police, after an incident where he punched a Chinese woman in the face, and allegedly ran off with money from her store. The incident took place last Saturday morning at Kavana Avealalo Store at Falelauniu. It was captured on CCTV, with the footage handed to the Police.

P.M. on Church leaders It seems Prime Minister Tuilaepa can’t leave members of clergy alone. During a radio programme last week, he had plenty to say about Church Ministers. For instance, he reminded them that Church Ministers were only taught on spiritual matters, not on Economics.
