Prince's ex-wife wants to keep 2006 divorce records sealed

Attorneys for Prince's ex-wife Manuela Testolini are arguing that records from the couple's 2006 divorce should remain sealed.

Testolini appeared in a Minnesota courtroom Thursday but didn't speak.

Prince's marriage to Testolini was his second. He died on April 21 from an accidental overdose of fentanyl.

The Star Tribune wants records from the couple's divorce released publicly, but Testolini's attorneys objected, saying the records are tied to a private settlement.

The newspaper reports (http://strib.mn/2aAZXaI ) that Hennepin County Family Court Judge Thomas Fraser took the matter under advisement.

Star Tribune attorney Leita Walker says Prince's privacy died with him and that the court files are newsworthy, given Prince's death and the case surrounding his estate, which has an estimated value of $300 million or more.
