Isn’t it time to cancel daylight saving?

Dear Editor,

With the new solar energy plants, four now I think, the Wind Farm and the Bio fuel plants, the power being supplied by renewable energy must be approaching a large percentage of the total of the EPC grid load of Samoa.

Daylight saving was purported to have been introduced to save the country money on diesel fuel for the monster generators at the new Fiaga power station.  With more renewable energy stations being installed, isn’t it time to think about cancelling Daylight saving?

I know that many people would like to be rid of this!

A reduction in the cost of electricity could also be looked at!

But who cares!
