Love is not at first but at second sight

Lydia Melanie Fatutoa and Misipati Bernard Leama recently celebrated their dream wedding in Samoa.

Their wows were taken at the Carmelites followed by a reception at the Faleata Golf Club.

The following is a statement they issued.

“Love is everything we’ve learned and hoped for, because what we first experienced from our families, friends, and especially parents is definitely loves at first sight.”

Truth be told, our first sight is of our parents. The love shared between a mother and father is the first experience we encounter.  Through them, our role models, we plan, we pick and choose from our experience of what we see and feel of how our very own love story will be laid.

We pray and hope that one day our future husbands will be as loving as our fathers, and we, as nurturing as our mothers.  I am very fortunate to have met my husband, everything else fell into place with the grace of our merciful Lord; our love is as solid as our faith in the Lord.  Through him everything and anything is possible.

Truthfully, I have been blessed with a suitable partner from the Lord, as our parents have been praying for.

In essence, we, my husband and I wholeheartedly with astounding gratitude would like to thank my grandfather who walked the 1st of his grandchildren down the aisle and each and every one of our families; Mah-Kwan, Chan-Chui, Fatutoa, Tavita, Leama, Papalii and Jenny Lafaele Fuimaono Pupi for the never-ending and continuing support both spiritually and mentally.”
