It’s not a boat, it’s a truck and it’s not meant to swim.

This blue Toyota pick up truck ended up in a village pool at Togafu’afu’a amidst the heavy downpour.

The incident was one of few car incidents reported from around the country as drivers struggled with the wet roads.

The Fire and Emergency Services Authority has been warning members of the public, especially motorists, to take it easy on the road during the wet conditions.

Samoa has been raining for the past few days.

According to the Met Service, a trough of low pressure which lies southwest of Samoa is responsible for the weather conditions.
