Tonga’s P.M. Pohiva in town

Pohiva was stopped from speaking to the Samoa Observer yesterday by his Personal Assistant.

Last week, Tonga’s Parliament was dissolved by the King.

However, according to a press release posted by the office of the Prime Minister of Tonga on their website, “Prime Minister of Tonga, Samuela ‘Akilisi Pohiva’s present Government will continue until the Elections take place.

“During this time, administration of Government services will continue.”

The election is scheduled for 16 November 2017.
